During my fifth and final academic year in the Penn State Architectural Engineering program, I had the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in my career after graduation through the completion of the Senior Thesis.  Working on an original project allowed me to learn about energy modeling techniques, mechanical system performances, and economic analysis.  Through my research and system analysis, I was able to better understand how mechanical systems are selected for buildings based off of climate and building type.  Through the completion of this thesis, I have gained valuable industry experience which will allow me to succeed as a future professional engineer.
