This thesis focuses on the research conducted on Canaveral Port Authority’s Cruise Terminal 1, located in Port Canaveral, Florida.  Cruise Terminal 1 (CT-1) is a 188,000 ft2 public assembly building with two stories, and was constructed in 2014.  The goal of this project is to duplicate CT-1 in Port of Astoria, Oregon, and redesign the mechanical system so that the newly introduced mechanical loads are met in an efficient manner.
